These two are set to wed in a few months back east, and we met up for some fun engagement photos here in Utah. Aren’t they so cute together?

Don’t forget about my great SUMMER SPECIALS!

Meet my amazing sister-in-law and brother-in-law! Although we froze most of the way through the session, we had a lot of fun at this gorgeous location. I absolutely love spending time with these two. They’ve been married for a few years, but they adore each other and were very affectionate and could have easily passed as newlyweds!

told ya they’re so cute together.

I love fall time and fall photos! It’s such a gorgeous time of year. I got to meet up with this great family for photos and it was fun to get to know them better.
Here’s just a few of my favorites from our time together!

(don’t worry, mom…. we got some great “normal” ones of him too)

Grandma and Grandpa and one of their cousins came along, too!

Thanks again, you guys! You were great!

I got to do some more photos for my cute BIL & SIL, and they’re always so great to take pics of. They’re so snuggly and cute with each other.
They make such a cute couple, and I’m very lucky to call them family.
Here are just a few of my faves….

This was my last big family session of the year, and it was one that Kenzie and I had been planning for a few months for when all of their extended family was going to be in Utah. However, November and Utah sometimes don’t mix well together but after lots of threatening forecasts for the day of our shoot, the sun peeked out, it didn’t storm, and it was even relatively warm!! I admit that the idea of a 24-person (including 12 kids) shoot in the winter was a bit intimidating, but everything went smoothly and I love how the photos turned out. I loved their outfit choices, the location, and the kids were sooo adorable. Thank you again, you guys, for being so great to work with!
(Get ready for an extremely photo-loaded post!)
First off, remember THIS family? That sweet baby has been featured on my website, business cards, and a few other things, and my, how he has grown in the last 9 months!!
Check him out now!

and big brother, sister, and his family:

and a small sampling of some of the other photos….

Tis the season for lots of family sessions!

Beautiful family, huh?

I’ve been able to take photos for this family a few times before, and I always love seeing them. They are always so sweet and genuine and a joy to take photos of. Best of luck with your new adventures in a few months! I hope you’re able to come back to Utah soon!
Meet the cutest little firefighter that will be out trick-or-treating tomorrow!

We got lots of smiles, too, but I can’t resist this cute pout!

I LOVE this little man’s hair!!!

I think this was the first session all month that I didn’t have to reschedule because of the weather! We certainly timed it well!
Anyway, these two are expecting a little boy in December and they wanted some photos of just the two of them, as well as some maternity photos…. doesn’t she look absolutely amazing?! She’s so tiny, and so cute. In fact, we had to do a few things to make her tummy look a bit bigger!
I had a great time hanging out with them for the evening…. they were so easy going and fun to be around, and they’re going to make such great parents!
Just a few of my faves…

Get ready for a photo-loaded post!
I had the opportunity to photograph this amazing family, and I was originally going to break down the posts for each individual family, but I’m getting behind in blogging sessions so this one’s all going together!
This extended family came from all over to Utah to celebrate grandma/grandpa’s 40th anniversary, and spend some time up beautiful Logan canyon. I admit that by the end I was pretty exhausted, but it was so worth it- All of the kids (and grownups too!) did SO well! I have tons of favorites from the shoot, but I’ll do my best to narrow them down!

And check out this cute tummy… I got to meet the sweet baby inside late last week! Those pics coming soon!

Seriously, such a fun, beautiful family— thanks for letting me spend the afternoon with you!

Last fall I took pics of these cute kiddos, and this month we met up for some family photos. We had a fun time together… they’re such an amazing family!

Mom got 1 huge sucker and then 3 little ones for them to each have one. They started with just the 1 sucker… poor little “C” had to really fight to get that sucker….

…. but he got it!

And how I love silhouette shots!!!
************Spots for fall sessions are filling up! I’m only doing a limited # of sessions in the coming months, so if you’d like to schedule a session, contact me asap!

This is my little bro and his fiance… they’re getting married 08.08.08. Funny thing… my husband and I got married the day of the opening Olympic ceremonies in SLC, and they’re getting married the day of the Olympics opening ceremonies in China!
I’m very excited that he’s got such a great girl… Kristy is amazing, so sweet, and she’s going to be a great sister-in-law!
Here are just a few of my faves from their session:

They got honked at several times!

Oh, what a great family they are! I photographed little Lexi when she was about 6 months old, and I didn’t think she could get any cuter, but guess what—- she did.
And her mom and dad are so nice and were so great to work with. They’re headed off to graduate school on the east coast at the end of the summer– good luck you guys!
We ended up with lots of fun photos… the one thing I hate about blogging is that it means I have to pick just a few photos to share!

And the Little Miss- she made this cute face a few times and it makes me laugh- I love photos that capture personality…

And more of little Lexi:

Well, no wonder she’s adorable…

And they were so good with the serious faces- I was impressed!

What a gorgeous and fun couple these two are!! They were in Utah for a family reunion and we did their engagements photos while they were here. They’re planning to get married later in the summer and I’m sure it’ll be such a beautiful day for them!

They completely adore each other- congrats again you two!!

Continuing on from the last post…
Here is just a small sampling of some of the fun photos we got! This family is from Southern Utah where it’s nice and warm (so jealous!), but they were in Northern Utah visiting family and wanted photos to commemorate their daughter’s 1st birthday. Happy Birthday sweetie!

I LOVED her outfit… so adorable!

Big brother— he’s such a cutie-pie and gave me lots of different expressions… I love that.

They’re wanting to adopt another baby and so we got lots of photos of mom/dad for their adoption profile photo. They’re a gorgeous couple and also incredibly nice… good luck you two!

This makes me laugh… I love it!

Great location + warm(ing) weather + an amazing family = a wonderful session!
This family was just on the brink of canceling due to being sick, but the morning of our session they felt much better and I’m SO glad we were able to meet up! This was my first time shooting at this location, and I loved it! I only wish it was closer to Logan! Either that, or we had an identical one here!
Little 1-year-old Tyler:

With his cute mommy and daddy:

There was this little stream with some ducks and little Tyler was so fascinated by them! I loved capturing the interaction with this family… it was completely obvious to me how much they care for one another.

awwwww….

I got a lot of fun pics of Tyler with his mom, but I think this one was my favorite because it’s so obvious how much love she has for him! (Wow, I’m sure mushy tonight, but I really do mean it- haha!)

This is what he wanted to do most of the time! And really, I wouldn’t expect anything less from a 1-year old who is a pro at walking and wanting to enjoy the warm weather.

His mom had the cutest idea for this little set-up!

And of course he loves balls….

I had so much fun with you guys! Thanks again!!

These are some of our good friends, and we went out a few weeks ago for an afternoon in the cold! They did so great though and put up with a few of my crazy ideas. There were some other things we wanted to do, but the weather and yucky hazy inversion we get way too much here didn’t allow for it… so we’ll have to go out again when it’s a bit warmer!

haha… the “serious” face… they did pretty good, don’t ya think?

I’ve been so lucky to be able to photograph so many wonderful families this summer! I’ve had so much fun!
Here’s another family session that we did at their beautiful home:

This little guy was the star of the show! I could have taken photos of him all day… I love his spiked hair and cute little teeth!

While the grandparents were getting their photos done, he wanted to join them… he was so determined to get to them! You can click on this one to make it bigger… a 10×30 storyboard:

Just one for today. I’ve wanted this shot for awhile, and we finally got around to doing this… I only wish I wouldn’t have worn the white shirt because it’s completely blown out, but oh well.
Thanks to my friend Marni for snapping the pic!!
I’m having this printed as a 10×20.

I’m so lucky to be able to photograph the greatest families! I have such admiration for these guys… they are truly an amazing family, and I’m so lucky to have gotten to know my good friend Eileen over the last few years. She has such talent, and I look up to her a lot! Not only is she an amazing scrapbooker, but she’s also such a talented photographer, so imagine the pressure when she asked me to photograph her family! (Oh, I also have one other big thing in common with this family… we all love this hilarious show and I dare say it has taken up a lot of our time lately! *****I am fast. To give you a reference point I am somewhere between a snake and a mongoose…and a panther.***** haha!!)
Ok… onto the photos! Aren’t they such a beautiful family?

And I tried something a little different with this one:

Remember Stacey & Jeremy? Well, a few weeks ago I met up with the rest of the family for an evening photo shoot before Michael & Megan moved out-of-state. (Good luck you two!)
We did tons and tons (and tons) of photos, so there’s a lot to choose from. They’re such a great family, and it was obvious they have a lot of fun together—with or without a camera in their face!
I loved both the color and black and white versions of a lot of the pics and couldn’t decide which to post here, so you’re getting both.
First the two that started it all… I wonder who will give them their first grandbaby? *wink*

Tim & Melissa:

Michelle was actually my roommate in college…. ahhhh, good times! She is one amazing and incredibly talented girl!

Big & Little Sis:

And the latest newlyweds, Jeremy & Stacey:

And the whole clan!
